Who We Are
a family rooted in purpose
Growing up surrounded by nature on my grandparents' farm shaped everything I believe about the simple, beautiful way of life. When we found our nearly 11-acre farm in rural Pennsylvania, we knew we'd found something special — a peaceful piece of land where we could slow down, dig in the dirt, and build something meaningful for our family.
After years of dreaming and experimenting during the pandemic, dahlias captured our hearts completely. These delicate, breathtaking flowers were the perfect fit for our small-scale, hands-on approach to farming. We were hooked from the very first bloom. Because I developed seed allergies over the years, sustainable growing practices became deeply personal — not just a preference.
That's why Hidden Acres uses no harmful chemicals or synthetic fertilizers. The flowers most people buy are shipped in from overseas and treated with pesticides. Ours are grown a few miles from your door, the way flowers were always meant to be grown.
